HI I’m Kevin

Kevin Steen is a Detroit-based, award-winning Film Director. He is a co-founder of RATHAUS Films, a production collective that catalyzes conversation through creation of bold content.

Steen’s films have screened in competition at prestigious festivals such as Locarno (Switzerland 2022), Clermont-Ferrand (France 2023), Winner of the Audience Award at the Ann Arbor Film Festival (USA 2023), and Best of the Fest Short award at the Freep Film Festival (USA 2023). He has also earned recognition from the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (2010), Mountainfilm (2020), and multiple Vimeo Staff Picks. His work celebrates and acknowledges the stories of people, places and organizations with a mission grounded in the journey of transformation. Through his work, he draws attention to the special relationships activated by our environment.”
